I utilize Visible Body apps for patient education in a Physical Therapy setting, and it has been extremely beneficial for helping patients understand their condition.
The app is amazing overall. As a heart specialist, a more detailed look at the heart is missing as I use it for teaching patients and fellows. Would show atrial appendage, sinus node, open atrial chamber with entry of cavas and pulmonary veins, and fossa ovalis as these are important in numerous disease processes.
Little slow on scrolling the 3D pictures and It’s better to have more Clip But it’s good at all and i love it ❤️
Great augmented reality app. This shows what can be done. Videos are amazing depictions.
This is one of the best apps in AppStore on anatomy it’s great marvelous useful and clear me and many doctors we purchased these apps of visible body and anatomy became very simple not like the old days in the college of medicine thanks for the creator and developer of this app and good luck.
Seriously the BEST app for anatomy hands down! Not only does it give you names of everything in the body, but also names of specific locations as well. Also, very useful for muscle attachments, origin, etc. I’ve already recommended this app to nearly everyone that has an interest in the health field and have to remember these things. The AR is pretty cool too, but all this for .99 cents is the best deal ever. If you have an interest in a health profession that you need to remember or study these things, this is an absolute must. Really wish my bio classes in college had this app as part of the required class materials. 100% more helpful than the textbooks in studying the anatomy of the body!
Please add the newly discovered organ interstitum
I love this app
This is a really cool app. I wish I had it when I was in PT school. I may try to use it for patient education once I get more familiar with it.
The price of this app is $0.99 and the price I was charged is $24.99. Anatomy atlas 2017 costs $24.99 but anatomy atlas 2018 is $1 and I was charged $24.99 I hate when companies get advantage of you
I was so excited to d/l this app from all the good reviews and features it provides, but it kept crashing within less than 1 min use!
I’m trying to download this on my iPod and I’m wondering if it’s not available. I’m connected to the internet and I have more than a gig of space. How do I get this app to download and work?
I’m one to usually never review apps unless I truly mean it. This app has taught me better than any professor would. It deserves way more than five stars. It is best used on an iPad.
Very helpful app for the persons studying medicine , I m impressed really by the tons of informations and little details , and looking forward to see new things in the future upgrades specially Real scanner , IRM, Radio 3D like dissection ... to finish you have my admiration great work 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Just keep on getting better to explore the human body ❣️ Awesome app that keeps you coming back for more learning 🎈
The level of detail and apparent accuracy are truly remarkable for any app, and especially for a free app with no ads. There are so many ways to access every area of the body: by system, area, function, groups, and many others. The views can be rotated to literally any angle and zoomed in or out, all with smooth, fluid motion. Body parts can be articulated as they actually operate and viewed from any angle, including from inside the body. For example, the viewer can be inside the skull and observe how the jaw works from an angle not possible in real life. Or the scapula from inside the chest. Layers can be added or peeled away with the touch of a button: bones, then ligaments and tendons, then fascia, nerves, vasculature, whatever there is. Touch another area and detailed descriptions from MedlinePlus appear in drop down boxes. The illustrations are very detailed and realistic. Color can be added to clearly differentiate among elements: fascia, nerves, and tendons, for example. I am amazed by and very pleased with this app. I’d think it would be a great tool for massage therapists, physical and occupational therapists, orthopedic folks, surgeons of all sorts, neurologists, and the like to clearly indicate to patients what’s what. Regular folks could benefit by having it too, I think. Great way to learn and to teach your kids. And no, I don’t work for the company and am not being paid for the review. I’m just so impressed I thought I’d share my enthusiasm for the app. Wow!
Fantastic app for patients or doctors, great details and function.
Third year medical student at Columbia and the augmented reality blew my mind.
Very satisfied with the app, had a little trouble when iOS updated and the app won’t load, got in touch with customer support and sent them proof of app, and the issue was resolved. Keep up the good customer support!
Perfect resource for classroom instruction. Students challenged and learn better.
Very minimal content for the videos animation .they want you to buy more items .paid 11.99$ for stupid stuff .you can’t get refund once u buy it . It’s not worth it ( kind of buying AS IS .No REFUND )
Terrific app for professional & lay persons. Great tool to learn and share human anatomy!
I can’t tell you how satisfied we are with this app. I use this in the clinic during evaluations for patient education and delineation strategies. Must have.
It’s affordable, accurate, and easy to use. The AR mode is great, too. I would like to see the skull’s sutures added, though.
I am so grateful for this app because it permits me to see and learn the parts and areas of my body that I have difficulties with and teaches me about my body parts so I am able to talk intelligently to my doctors. And get my aliments and concerns across to them with proper medical knowledge and terms. I thank you so very much for this app and I truly appreciate the time, work and effort that y’all have put into building this app and keeping it up to date with the latest medical knowledge. God Bless y’all and may God keep y’all always. Your brother James A Boston Jr
Simply one word - Awesome!
I can’t believe all the things you can see using this app for the price.
I recommend anyone who is very visual to use this. We needs a teacher....so old school
Probably an amazing medical learning and teaching tool, but an even more amazing example of how good Augmented Reality has gotten.
For $0.99 you get way more than you pay for. Amazed by the detailed graphics and the informative background. Tip: could have been more dental info and movements for dentists and dental technicians.
AR work for a few times, but now I’m having trouble with it. It asked me to scan around surface for AR & I did but AR stopped working
This app advertises AR, but so far as I can tell the functionality either simply does not exist, or is not compatible with iPhone 8+ because it doesn’t work at all. That aside, the A&P visualization is incredible, and is going to put some of us out of business.
Worth it! I bought this app for 0.99 it was paid off within an hour of use! The amount of info this app has is incredible. It feels a little slow but other than that it is amazing!!
Worst app i ve ever use... so difficult to maneuver around the body.. menu always gets in the way... i like reading the description, function while i see the anatomical part ... too many bright translucent colors ... you can see all parts at once... too many to distinguish them individually... frustrating app... i ve use really good apps for anatomy before... i should've paid the extra money ...
I don’t usually review apps but this one has save me a lot of time studying in a 200 level A&P course. It is pretty easy to learn how it works. The one and only small complaint I have is that while you use the app you battery will die very fast!
My only critique is that recent research has shown that the triceps long head is actually innervated by the axillary nerve, not the radial nerve
it’s wonderful and unbelievable. i’m learning so much about my body. i’m artist. please add the ability of lightning and move each part of body to arbitrary direction to it. thanks.
I’m a medical student using this app for anatomy. The app is very comprehensive, but there are a few fine details they miss out, but definitely should work for the highschool and undergraduate level education.
I can view horizontal sections side-by-side with CT scan and cadaver sections?? Simply essential for me. Animations of movement, videos with narrated explanations of physiology, pathological clinical correlates for every anatomical feature. And above all, app design is beautiful and navigation of the many, many features is pretty much intuitive. This should cost more.
It's really nice and educational.... worth 10 times it's cost, EASILY. :) Nice job! please keep releasing content as amazing as this. Put ur shoulder to the plow...
Animations are excellent. Sections are thoughtfully arranged. Great for gross anatomy down to micro-anatomy. Great tool for understanding anatomy.
I’m learning so much with this app, it’s very well done and easy to navigate. Definitely one of my favorite apps. Highly recommended.
VERY cool app for anyone interested in human anatomy. I found the interface to be simply elegant, the tools to be powerful yet easy to understand, and the model to be accurate and absolutely beautiful. Solid across the board! Recommended. Looks like they just got all of the Views to work with AR!!
This app is absolutely fantastic! Having been a child brought up on encyclopedias, this is something I fantasizes about! The systems and movements and as icing on the cake the way each part can be repositioned for viewing different angles! I've had a knee injury and difficulty explaining the location of the pains. The app provided the perfect visual and 3D movement structure to show my doctor and physical therapist the exact areas! I had placed this app on my wish list as the cost was a bit high but then I received a notification of a sale price and I quickly acted! I'm very happy with it! Still learning my way around but so far it's great!
Great app to visualize anatomy. I had to pay $50/semester for a similar program but this one is way better and more interactive. A must have for any anatomy student.
Very detailed and well structured. Can't beat it
Truly the best app I have used for anatomy. The developers of this app should be very proud. It is also incredibly cheap which allows those with a tight budget the ability to access this affordable yet incredibly powerful app. The constant updates and perseverance of the developers has led to this successful app. If the developers can keep the app affordable and strong, I truly believe their app can become the virtual anatomy app used by all institutions and schools for helping educate the young and professional. Thank you for your honorable labor in making this app powerful yet affordable for us all.
A very good anatomy explorer. However floating the 3D model on a virtual table is barely “AR” and is actually an inferior way to use this app. Way easier to use the conventional touch interface. My wish: This could be so much better — for instance hold out your hand and see the inner structure as you move your hand. Or point the camera at your friend and see internal anatomy. AR has so much potential but this app gets a C for effort regarding AR.
I wish I had this available in medical school, internship, residency(Neurology) and in practice. Retired now but thoroughly enjoying reviewing all other body systems. Well worth the price!
